RCIA meetings for 2025-2026 will begin in the fall of 2025. RCIA meetings are held on Sundays at 8:30 am in St. Mary's parish office. These meetings serve as the beginning of the inquiry into the Catholic Church and as an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the faith. If you are interested in joining the next RCIA class or simply want more information, please call St. Mary's parish office at (765) 932-2588.
RCIA, or the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a Ritual Process of conversion of mind and heart preparing adults for full communion as disciples of Jesus. It involves a weekly RCIA session and Sunday Mass. Instructions are based in the Catechism of the Catholic Church in four areas as Sacred Scripture relates in Acts 2:42: the teachings of the Apostles, fellowship, the breaking of the bread, and prayer. While the schedule varies each year, classes start in August and normally culminate in the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost or obligation. Come join us in a study of the fullness of Truth!
